Segregated Funds are administered by Canadian insurance companies in the form of individual, variable life insurance contracts offering certain guarantees to the contract holder. A description of the key features of the individual variable insurance contract is contained in the information folder.
Subject to any applicable death and maturity guarantee, any amount that is allocated to a segregated fund is invested at the risk of the contract holder and may increase or decrease in value.
Your advisor may also offer other insurance related products; provided that they are duly registered to do so under applicable legislation and the dealer approves such activity to be conducted outside of the dealer. Any activities related to such other occupation are not the business of the dealer and are not the responsibility of the dealer.
